I have to say that I have never found a product that has changed my outlook and my working lifemore than the Fashionary.
This might seem like a bold claim for those of you who have never experienced this product but after this review I hope that atleast you will have taken a look into this product and formed your own (hopefully positive) opinion of it!

Okay, so above is a picture (sorry, iPhone camera is NOT my strong suit) of my brand new Fashionary goodies which I received yesterday! I am in the process for editing my video review for YouTube and the site but it's quite long and complicated so I hope to get that up soon!
So first, a little backstory on how I came across these products and why I love them so much and why I am sure you will love them too!
So last year, I was desperate to find the perfect sketchbook. As a fashion design student, presentation and effeciencey is key and I stumbled across a blog written by Savanah Miller on the Vogue website (http://www.vogue.co.uk/blogs/savannah-miller/2012/05/17/ooh-what-a-good-idea)
It outlined this wonderful sketchbook and design aid called a Fashionary and it came with LOADS of information packed in the front about how to design, places to go, people to research, shows to keep an eye out for, size guides and lots, lots more! To me this sounded like just what I needed so I decided to check out the website (http://fashionary.org/) and I was in love in seconds! Immediately I bought one and I haven't used any other brand since!
I have used the A5 Fashionary as a studio journal, inspiration book, diary and fabric collection book, the A4 Fashionary as a sketchbook and design development book and I've used the free templates you can find on the site as quick illustration templates for my projects. Needless to say, this book has revolutionised my design process and has been a tool I have had by my side ever since.

So this is the Limited Edition SWASH LONDON X Fashion collaboration! (http://fashionary.org/special-swash/) It is a Swash design A5 Fashionary that includes a little information about the designers of the print and how they created their label and also all of the amazing information to help all startup and established designers day to day! I love the look and feel of this book and its the perfect size to fit in my handbag! I've already started to list the things I need to complete for my summer project and I have written my name, contact details and Label name in the section at the front dedicated to that information. So, G-d forbid that you lose you precious Fashionary, there is a way for someone to contact you to return it!
Needless to say, this is a great addition to my design kit and I wouldn't be without it! Now, the second WONDERFUL product that I received from the Fashionary team is the (also) Limited Edition Neon Light mini Fashionary set of 3. This new design is a compliment to their already fantastic and extensive catalogue of products. Find them at http://fashionary.org/neon-light-womens/.
This nifty little book is like the sticky note templates that they sell on the site. They are perfect for those of us who design and get inspired on the go. Its 9cm by 16cm so is perfect to stick in the back pocket of you A5 Fashionary or in your handbag! They come in Women's and Men's templates and the hologram front is bang on trend! When you open the little cutie you find information on sizes and conversions and then its straight into the templates. With one template per page and handy perforated edges, you can design away and, if you want, tear out and attach them anywhere you like! They are perfect for those of us without a large budget or those who want a large blank sketchbook of another brand but who still want to use the templates. Just tear them out and stick them in! Easy!
And because there are three of them per package, you can design and go as much as you want!

I cannot sing their praises enough. What a wonderful idea that has touched my life so much and made my deisng process a hell of a lot easier and a lot more fun and inspiring! I will be using both of these great products on my research trip to London this weekend and I'm happy to say that now that I have them, I just know things will go a lot smoother!
Next, I am planning on getting one of their newest products, the date book, which is great for those of us who are studying! It's great for writing in your lecture times, keeping fabric swatches and photos from trips.
